Mark Arvayo - 2024 AZBO Inspector of the Year

At their annual banquet in July, PD&C Senior Building Inspector, Mark Arvayo, was named 2023-2024 Arizona Building Officials (AZBO) “Inspector of the Year”, one of several annual rewards presented by the organization.  The honor is based upon nominations submitted by industry peers.  AZBO represents the interest of individual Arizona state chapters at the state, regional and federal level and supports the mission of the International Code Council (ICC), the organization that publishes most of the codes associated with building Industries worldwide.  AZBO also offers training classes for certification and for continuing education units (CEUs), “strengthening the knowledgebase and expertise of Arizona's building community”. 

Mark has been with PD&C for two years, coming from The Town of Sahuarita, where he served as a Senior Building Inspector and a Senior Plans Examiner.  Mark’s inspiration for entering the field was his father, who was also a building inspector and plans examiner.  Mark serves as Vice President of AZBO.
